Cost of Care
Veterinary Specialty Center is committed to providing quality care to our clients at the most reasonable cost possible. The expenses related to specialized medical care are often a significant concern for families. We understand this and try to provide you with an accurate estimate of the cost of care for your pet at the time of your appointment. Additional tests may be required to accurately diagnose your pet’s problem before we can give you an estimate for treatment. We will provide you with a Diagnostic and Treatment Plan and an expense summary before treatment begins. You will be asked to sign this estimate and leave a deposit equal to the low end of the estimated costs.
If significant variation from the treatment plan summary occurs (>20%) we will notify you of the additional cost before proceeding further. If you have any concerns regarding cost, please discuss these with your VSC doctor or technician.
Payment for services is expected at the time of discharge. A deposit equal to the low end of the estimate is required if your pet is staying in the hospital for evaluation or treatment. The balance is due when your pet is discharged from the hospital.
