Kim
Receptionist
Kim will be the first person you meet when arriving at VSC. She is always found with a warm welcoming smile. Kim is responsible for keeping our front office in tip-top shape and running smoothly. Kim started working at VSC in November 2013.
Kim was born and raised here in Brevard County and is the proud mother of two active girls. Most of her free time is spent doing activities with her children, hiking nature trails, volunteering for Relay of Life, and being involved in her sorority (Beta Sigma Phi).
In addition to Kim's human children, she shares her home with her kitty, Katie, who is 15 years young. |

Megan
Certified Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Technician Specialist (Surgery)
Looking to match her own high standards, Megan joined VSC in March of 2006. Megan has an Associates of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology and an Associates of Arts Degree in General Education, both of which she graduated in with honors. Looking to further her education, Megan earned designation as a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Surgery through the Academy of Veterinary Surgical Technicians in 2013.
Megan serves as the lead surgical technician helping to keep the VSC team organized and functioning at top notch. She enjoys the fast paced environment and continuous opportunities to learn.
Megan and her husband, Jake, share their home with a basset hound Maximus and Diesel a chihuahua mix. In her free time, Megan enjoys the outdoors; fishing, camping, hiking, and geocaching. Megan will always grab an opportunity to laugh, play games, or spend time with family and friends. |

Carrie
Certified Veterinary Technician, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant
Carrie graduated from Brevard Community College’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2004, and started working with Dr. Lawrence in 2006. Carrie furthered her veterinary education by pursuing her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Assistant in 2010. Carrie devotes most of her day performing rehabilitation on our patients. This has been an invaluable adjunct to our patients' postoperative care.
Carrie shares her home with her cats Banshee, Gus and Rosa and her new Golden Retriever Maggie. Carrie is an excellent source of information about living with an amputee pet.
Carrie is a devoted mother of two active boys. Her family enjoys camping, kayaking, and being active in the sunny Florida outdoors. Carrie is also an avid runner and has recently completed her first full marathon. Congratulations Carrie! |

Jody
Veterinary Technician
Jody joined VSC in September 2007 and has been in the veterinary field since 1999. Jody prides herself in working as part of the caring and skilled surgical team. Some of Jody’s professional interests include fracture repair and spinal surgery.
At home, Jody has three dogs, Jen a Border Collie, Buggy a Sheba Inu mix, Taco a Chow mix and a cat, Tinka . Outside of work, Jody enjoys music, in-line skating, reading, billiards, playing the saxophone, foreign languages and cultures, and animals. |

Martha
Veterinary Technician
After relocating from Connecticut in 2004, Martha joined VSC. Martha has a diverse medical background in both the human and veterinary field and she became a veterinary technician in 1984.
Martha is very active in the Labrador rescue community. Her recent foster, a yellow lab named Reese, found his forever home with Martha.
In her spare time, Martha is a hand bell ringer with her church and is attending classes at East Coast Christian University. You can often find Martha outdoors gardening or walking her dog.

Dustin
Veterinary Technician
Dustin joined the VSC team in 2014 and has worked in the veterinary field since 2007. He is one of our ICU technicians.
Dustin plans on pursuing a degree in the pharmacy field. In his spare time he enjoys reading, cooking and checking out the latest horror movies. He recently adpoted a new calico cat called Vanity.
